With an investment of 500 thousand euros, the leading group in the logistics and transport sector has completely renovated a disused building of 8,100 square meters

An investment of 500 thousand euros for a new logistics center of 8 thousand and 100 square meters covered and completely renovated and modernized. The new Ceccarelli Group logistics hub in Pradamano was inaugurated today, Saturday 11 June. The leading company in transport and logistics based in Udine, but also offices in Milan, Trieste, Padua and Prato, has in fact focused on the redevelopment of a property that has been disused for years to meet an exponentially growing market. The opening of the new Pradamano center comes after that of Tavagnacco, with the new headquarters in Transfriuli, the industrial transport division of the Friulian company, the doubling of the Padua office and the upcoming opening of another pole in the Carnia Industrial Park of Tolmezzo.

«Here - explained the president of Ceccarelli Group, Luca Ceccarelli - we will combine our current logistics centers in a single space, so as to satisfy the existing request, but also to expand the logistics offer for the client. The pandemic had already shown how logistics were a weak point and in 2021 we detected the inherent fragility of the supply chain. In this scenario of uncertainty - he continued - we are therefore called to be even more responsible for our actions, we have the duty to imagine the future, to look towards the horizon and not where we rest our feet and transmit desire and passion in everything we we do. Today - he concluded - we are celebrating an important milestone for our group, but only after we set out do we understand how dangerous it would have been to stay still ».

At ribbon-cutting ceremony, in addition to the president of the Group, Luca Ceccarelli, the vice president, Mariarosa Zermano and the managing director, Gabriel Fanelli, there were also the regional councilor for productive activities and tourism, Sergio Emidio Bini, the mayor of Pradamano , Enrico Mossenta, and the president of Confapi Fvg, Massimo Paniccia.

“Friuli Venezia Giulia - explained Bini -, after two and a half years of a pandemic, is reacting to a great extent and businesses are proving to be as vital as ever. Therefore, I thank the entrepreneurs who are believing in our land and in our region as is being done here today. Entrepreneurs, individuals and institutions that are working together for the good of the territory. Ceccarelli - continued the commissioner also recalling the incessant work of the patron of the Group, the late Bernardino - is not only business and profit, but it is also welfare, working for others, volunteering. A mix that can only honor the institutions and the entire community ".

Before the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a moment of reflection offered by the Group's CEO on the global economy and on how the business world has found itself forced to react in order not to succumb in the face of the crisis, but rather, to increase resilience and agility. «The pandemic, the lockdown in the East, the increase in the cost of sea freight, the war in Ukraine, the shortage of drivers - explained Fanelli - are just some of the causes that have put the market in crisis. The first thing to do to react, therefore, is not to be caught unprepared, but, for example, to bring production back to one's home or to neighboring countries, find alternative sources of supply, mix "just in time" with "stocking ”And digitize the supply chain. In all this - he concluded - the logistics sector must be ready and this is what Ceccarelli is doing with investments already made, today and the others in the immediate future ».
